Anne Roche
Anne Roche is an eternal optimist, as evidenced by the ridiculous number of books she owns (far more than she will ever get around to reading).
As a lifelong lover of words, she had the idea that she might like to write a book “one day.”
That day came in 2009, when she told herself, “I have my hands full with two young children—what better time to start writing?"
Hey, when inspiration strikes, you go with it—and go with it she did. Seventeen years later (that’s right, seventeen), she completed her first novel, LAUREL.
Her 8th grade English teacher probably wouldn’t be surprised it took this long. She wrote in Anne’s yearbook: “Annie, one of the slowest moving students but one of the finest artists and writers I’ve had the pleasure to teach.”
Make of that what you will.
Anne lives in Northern California with her husband, two teenagers, one dog, and two cats.
